BARREL DROPS
Fresh off the boat from Tennessee and Seattle, we’ve just dropped two absolute bangers of a dram.
First up: a Jack Daniel’s pick we never thought we’d even entertain- and yet, here we are. Take your time with this one. The nose… my god, the nose. Give it a few minutes and it opens up like no other. The palate follows with that classic Jack banana bread note, but this time studded with chocolate chips.
Second: The story for this one was way too long to cram onto a bottle page, but it goes a little something like this. Ylli, our friend Scott, and I were touring Westland, tapping into unique casks, when Ylli nudged Jeff, the warehouse manager, about the old Inferno (Tabasco cask) they released years back. He laughed and said, “Yeah, that was awful, wasn’t it?” Then he casually mentioned they had refilled that same cask and it was still lying around somewhere in the warehouse. All the bois’ eyes lit up.
“Can we try it?!”
Jeff insisted it was undrinkable and way too weird, emphasizing that we did not want to taste it.
“We love weird shit,” the bois replied.
After about ten minutes of scouring the rickhouse, they found the cask. And after drinking it…
“Please let us buy this,” Long said.
After some back-and-forth with Westland management about whether they’d even be willing to bottle it, we finally reached an agreement. It took longer than our other cask because it was literally tucked away on the bottom rack, deep in a corner where it was nearly impossible to access.
And thus—The Hot One was born. A refill-Tabasco–cask-finished American Single Malt from Westland!

ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
It’s LIVEEEEE. Details for this annual toy drive is all in. This year we will be donating to the Boys and Girls Club of Alaska. Looking for toys from ages 5 through 13. Think about the keeeeeds!
As always, we got a buncha fun stuff to giveaway from our suppliers. To be entered into the XMAS raffle, an entry is every $25 in value of toys (i.e. $100 receipt, 4 entires). It’s for the keeeeds! Bring your toy(s) to the shop and present it at the front desk to get entered into the raffle.
