BARREL DROPS

You might have seen it on our shelves already, but it’s the official drop of Allocated’s Blue Run Blend as well as Fiori’s George Remus Lost Barrel. The Blue Run is a first for the company and was our most anticipated barrel release of this year. Two unreleased mashbills from Mr. Jim Rutledge, distilled at Castle & Key, blended together for an insane rollercoaster ride. I like to explain this blend like a Scotch. Not in the sense that it tastes like Scotch, but how it shifts so dramatically from the nose, palate and finish. It’s a mad house. You might want to smell this pick more than anything. Lord knows it’s Chris’s new nose candy.

NEW ITEMS

Chris has brought in some insane new beers, definitely come by to check it out. Don’t sleep on the sexy new Pojahla’s that we will be posting on IG very soon.

AK has recently brought in some new brands: 13th Colony out of Georgia & Old Dominick out of Memphis. Both are bringing new flavors into our state without a doubt.

Other new items from Green River that has been killing it is their new ‘Honey Bourbon’ as well as the Single Barrel Wheated Bourbon AK Pick. The Honey bourbon is wild. $25….it’s absolutely insane. It’s no Thunder Bitch, but it’s perfect for the summer, especially if you have friends who don’t drink big boi cask strength whiskey. 92pr and light out.

Scotch new new, we have the Dewar’s 21 Year Double Double Magma edition and new Single Cask Glendronachs. Along with the insane Single Casks from Glendronach, we were recently able to acquire the Single Cask Benriach 14 Year fully matured in PX Puncheons, which may be the best bottle on the Scotch wall you can buy @ $165.

Across the pond, Nikka’s From the Barrel Extra Marriages LE is in the state now. Married in a cask for 6 months instead of 3 months. It’s my most consumed whisky at the moment <3.
