BARREL DROPS
Thought it was going to be a 2 bottle drop tomorrow, but turns out the Wilderness Trail we’ve selected down in Kentucky has finally made it in to AK as well! I’ll tell ya right now, the EC Toaster coined Generations #02 is absolutely lights out. So if you had to only hand one rose to any of these bottles, we hope you are able to get one.
Everything is officially releasing tomorrow, Friday 06/19/26. Preorder form has been closed. As always, we set aside bottles to be sold the day of release (tomorrow).

MONTHLY DAY CLOSURE
As we’ve been open 7 days a week for nearly the last 2 and a half years, we are now officially announcing that we will be closed for the first Monday of every month. Website, Google, etc. will all reflect this. This will allow us to do some much needed maintenance in the shop and give the team a day where we can go smash some Suntory seltzers on the lake every now and again. We appreciate your understanding <3
TASTINGS
In addition to the last blog post about Long being out at the Alaska Scottish Highland Games Scotch Tastings in Palmer (https://www.alaskanscottish.org/ashg) and Long MCing for the Fairbanks’ Midnight Sun Scottish Highland Games (https://www.alaskanscottish.org/msshg)- the games have added a Dinner with Scotland’s Chef out at the Palmer Games!

Save the Date
We are happy to have locked in Glendronach National Ambassador, Rory Glasgow, to come to Alaska to present a Glenrdronach tasting! As everyone knows, this is one of our absolute favorite brands in house, so to finally do a dinner with the brand is a dream come true. We’ve set 2 dates, so mark your calendars; 10/19/26 Monday & 10/20/26 Tuesday for the tastings. Monday will be general admission, tasting through the phenomenal spirits of Glendronach, whereas Tuesday….we’ll be opening up the Glendronach 56 Year. Event page will be published soon!

BARREL SHELF
Due to popular demand, we have commissioned barrel shelfs to be build from our old existing barrel select casks to sell in shop! These are done by Barrels by Bachman, a local wood worker who’s work is showcased at nearly any entity that has ‘barrel furniture’. Sturdier than all heck and sealed to ensure shrinkage doesn’t happen (damn these dry AK winters).
These will be $400 a piece. Limited quantities, as we’ve only done so many barrel selects!
Current Barrel we have in house (Maker’s Mark)
